Megan Rudden - About
Leith-born, Glasgow-based, Sometimes-visual artist and writer working across performance, object making, text and drawing.
Through an interdisciplinary practice, my work attempts to create non-linear, transhistorical narratives which consider the body as central to understanding our environment. Drawing on my background in sculpture, I am currently interested in how written words can evoke physical sensation and materiality.
I have performed and exhibited at various locations across the UK including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and at the back of a car park in Dundee. I have recently undertaken postgraduate study in Art Writing at Glasgow School of Art, and my writing has been published on several platforms.
