Documentation of Performance

 

‘Flow’ was a site specific performance that took place on the site of a former iron foundry, underneath the M8 at the Garscube Link, Glasgow. Responding both to the history of the place and its current position as a motorway underpass, specifically the motorway leading from my current home in Glasgow to my family home in Edinburgh, ‘Flow’ interweaves personal feelings and experience, researched histories relating to the site and considerations on the materiality of iron in relation to the body and female reproductive systems.
